DIY Holiday Gifts

I think all these are perfect for giving to friends especially if your giving them to say a group of friends, because they are cheep to make but it looks like you put a lot of effort in and all these you can customize for each of your girlfriends or guyfriends.

The Sharpie mug's

What you need:
  • Cheep mug (the cheep ones have a thin glaze which will make it last longer).
  • Sharpies (WARNING) the colored sharpies can change colour when baked so best to stick with black.
  • White vinegar.
  • Cotton pads.
First wipe where your going to be drawing on the mug with the vinegar to remove oils  after doing that avoid touching the surface.
Next just draw your design let it dry, then go over it again
 and allow it to dry,
Place in the oven when you oven is cool and LET THE OVEN HEAT UP AND COOL DOWN WITH THE MUGS INSIDE!
Once your mugs are in the oven turn the oven to 220-230c or 350F and cook for 30 min.
When the the 30 min is up let your oven cool completely

Then your all done you can get really creative with this one and you could also hide some goodies inside:)

Christmas cookies

Now these are super simple but i think these are great,
All you need is any jar and get any cookie or brownie recipe from the internet.
Place all the dry ingredients in the jar, then add a little card maybe stuck to the side or wrapped around the top with some ribbon with all the wet ingredients they will need. You could maybe add a cute cookie cutter attached with some ribbon around the top.
I don't know anyone who wouldn't love these!

Jolly rancher lollys

This is soo good! just place your sticks on a pan with foil or wax paper and then just place The jolly ranchers on top of the sticks in any way you like then place in the oven for 4 mins at 350F after they are done you could maybe decorate then with ribbon or Something.

I hope this helped you guys, i am actually using all of these ideas for gifts so shhhhh....;)

Marc Jacobs beauty is here

Hey girls! so coming across this in sephora was pretty exciting, this line came out on August 9th with 120 pieces in all. 24 shades of nail polish, 16 gel foundations, 10 eye shadow compacts, eight concealers, and nine blushes. Each category is jam-packed with bold colors, and there are also makeup brushes, a brow tamer, a mascara, a bronzer, and more! so they are defiantly not starting small.

And with a brand like Marc Jacobs you can expect the packaging to be amazing with the sleek, black-and-silver compacts which all ways feel special pulling that out of your purse in public.

I know this was a short one sorry but I hope you girls enjoyed!

Beauty Blogger TAG

Hey everyone! so are blog got asked by the gorgeous girls of A beauty piece to do the
Beauty blogger tag! which was created by The beaubow so go and check there blogs out!

So Lets get started, here are the rules:

  • State that this TAG was created by The beaubow
  • TAG 5 Beauty Bloggers
  • Title the post: Beauty Blogger TAG to show what the post is about

The Questions

1) Name a beauty routine you rarely do?

Painting my nails probably, i love doing them its just making time and not getting distracted.

2) Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?

I really should do this more! and people say you should wash them once a week but i don't think i could commit to that.

3)How long will you last with chipped nails?

I am so guilty of this! maybe a week some times.

4)How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it (i.e. top coat, foundation ECT)?

Over the years my makeup collection has rapidly grown! due to my crazy obsession to buying it and packaging...oh the packaging gets me every time, so i have basically three of everything so if i run out i use another i have.

5)What is your worst beauty habit?

Taking off my makeup at night! I am sure we are all guilty of this and i have got a lot better at this because i know its bad for your skin

6)Name something non beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Definitely school work! When it comes to a topic i am not interested in i am the biggest

procrastinator.

7)When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute or not?

Not at all! i all ways make sure i have enough time to do my makeup, hair and outfit because it is one of my favorite things to do but this means i am late for every thing haha

8)Can you commit to spending bans?

Honestly i have never made one because i know if there is a sale or something i desperately want there is no stopping me.

9)How organised is your makeup and nail polish collections?

As for makeup it is all in these draw things i try to keep one draw for face one for eyes and so on i have a post on my makeup collection here:
         how i store my makeup
And for nails i have crazy amount of nail polishes so i have been keeping them i a shoe box but i am planing on getting a nail rack.

10)Whats the longest time you have gone with out writhing a blog post?

Maybe a week and a bit over i would rather make good posts a little spaced out then one i haven't put much time in to every day
And post ideas or something you want to see more of are REALY appreciated! so please email me if you have any!

Here are the blogs i would like to tag to do this:

So i hope you guys liked reading this tag as much as i liked doing it talk to you soon loveleys!

DIY Tinted lip balm in a locket

This easy DIY is perfect for when you have just a tiny smudge of your favourite lipstick that you refuse to throw away, and then you end up scraping out every last bit putting it in to a random pot and forgetting about it.

Well here is a perfect, cute, practical way to fix this problem!

What you will need:

>Your Lip stick of choice
>Vaseline
>A locket
>microwave safe container

What to do:

First thing to do is scrape out the left over lipstick and put it in to your container.
Now grab the vaseline and put a little less than double the amount of lipstick.
(The more vaseline the less pigmented) also if you want to customise it more you can put eye shadow or flavoured lip balm to make it your own.

Place the microwave safe container in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time what you need is for the Vaseline and the lipstick to be liquid.

When your done melting, stir the mixture so all the colours are blended and gently pour the mixture in to your locket, don't worry if it spills over the sides, if it gets a bit messy it can be easily cleaned up.

Once you have poured it in place, put it in to the fridge for a hour to set,
When your balm has set clean up the sides if it got messy when you was pouring.

And then your done! you can have your favorite lipstick hanging around your neck
these make great gifts and are so easy to do!

How to curl your lashes (The right way)

Curling the eyelashes is one of those things that never gets much credit but can produce amazing results when done right. With a good curl, lashes look longer, thicker, and the eyes appear larger and more awake. Everyone has their own technique, but here is mine.
Hold the curler the way you normally hold a pair of scissors.
Open the curler completely and bring it up to the upper lashes, making sure to get the right up to the root of the eyelashes. make sure you have all of your lashes inside the curler. Place the tool upright, so the curve faces out.
Close the curler carefully on the lashes and squeeze lightly, with a soft, pulsing grip.
Now turn the curler upwards so that the curve of the curler lines up with the curve of your eyelid’s crease.
Now this is the secret. It will give you curl, rather than a crimp effect.
Squeeze the curler handles in small pulses with light pressure, holding the tool in place for several seconds.
Move the curler up from the root of the lash all the way to the tip, pressing and pulsing until you reach the end this will create a amazing curl.

DIY Ice beauty secrets

                                     Shrink A Zit

Holding ice on that annoying pimple you notice on running out the door is one way to Get the red out, Ice decreases inflammation, and can even relieve the pain from acne. Just hold the ice against the affected area for five to ten minutes.

                               De-Puff Eyes

late night? Reach for an ice cube! Wrapping a cube in a washcloth and holding over your eyes can reduce morning puffiness, and make you look and feel more alert. you could also, freeze cubes of caffeinated black tea, or store sliced cucumbers in ice

                                            Prime Skin

Before applying your foundation, run an ice cube over your face on areas with enlarged pores. The cold water will cause pores to shrink and minimise their appearance under makeup.

                                     Scrub Away

make a DIY icy scrub! by blending fruits or veggies (like cucumber, strawberries or mango) with water and freezing in ice cube trays. Once frozen, gently rub a fruity cube over your face as part of your weekly facial. The chunky texture will exfoliate as the ice melts.
